Ricky "Slim" Richardson

Bobbi grew up showing these prestigious saddlebreds in equitation. Then found a love for mules, driving teams and multiple hitches. When her son, Jack fell in love with saddlebreds, it was a full circle moment. Taking all of her horsemanship knowledge and putting it back to her roots.

Jack’s infamous fedora is a signature part of this young man’s presentation. A fourth-generation horseman, he enjoys working with the finest high-stepping Saddlebreds, as well as roadsters.

Alyssa has worked with a wide range of professionals. She enjoys teaching children everything she knows, as well as training and showing Saddlebreds. She takes pride in creating a fun, safe environment for lessons and training.

“Slim,” a renowned UPHA Hall of Fame equine caretaker and respected figure in the Saddlebred industry, is a valuable part of our program. Whether sharing expert grooming advice or teaching traditional methods, Slim is always ready to lend a hand!

Our Facility

Anchored high above historic Maysville, our expansive equine campus features an indoor arena, an outdoor arena, 20, 12x12 matted stalls, and six miles of trails, maintained by our faculty and care team.
